Q: What was your favorite book when you were a child?

A: We Were Tired of Living in a House (the original version!) by Liesel Moak Skorpen

Q: What is your favorite children's book now?

A: I still really love We Were Tired of Living in a House! It's so nice to share this sweet part of mychildhood with my students.

Q: What motivates you as a teacher?

A: I love getting to know each and every child in my class, figuring out what motivates them, and howto best support their growth and learning.  My students are a constant source of inspiration, and in the classroom, I love guiding spirited group discussions, exploring, laughing, and singing alongside my students. It such an honor and a pleasure to be a part of my students' first experiences with school, helping them to build positive and nurturing associations with learning.
