WNNS is open Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm from early September through the middle of June. Children attend school for half days, full days, or a half-full combination. In order to apply for the following school year, 2 year olds must be 2 by September 15.

The Admissions Process at WNNS:

  1. Applications are accepted one year before the date of admission, beginning on Monday, September 18th. Applications received by December 15th will have priority, and our first round of enrollment will be decided by lottery at this time. Applications received after December 15 will be enrolled on a first come, first serve basis. You may either electronically submit your application form (below), or visit the WNNS office for a hard copy.

  2. Please note that a $50 application fee is due for new families upon submission of an application. This fee may be paid electronically after your application form submission, or via cash/check.

  3. After submitting an application the school will contact you to schedule a time for you to take a tour. Once enrollment has begun in January, we will continue to accept applications. However, after a class is fully enrolled we will discontinue tours for that classroom. If a spot opens up, we will resume tours for that classroom.

  4. We give preference to returning WNNS children and their siblings, with these families committing to us in mid-December. We then determine how many slots we have left for new families. We strive for a balanced class in regards to gender. In the 2s programs we will enroll strictly based on lottery for applicants before Dec 15 until a 6/4 gender split. After that point we reserve the right to enroll based on lottery standing paired with student gender.

  5. Letters of enrollment are sent out beginning at the end of January via email. However, this process may take a couple of months:

    1. Families who are offered a spot in the school have 5 business days, after receiving an offer of admission, to accept or decline. If we do not hear back from a family within 5 business days, we offer the slot to the next applying family.

    2. Applicants who are not offered a spot have the opportunity to be put on a 'Wait List' for admission to the school.

  6. A non-refundable tuition deposit of $2000 is due upon enrollment and is applied toward the year’s tuition.
